MERCER CO. (WVVA) - Dustie Beller was on trial for running over a woman with her car all for chainsaw. While she was found not guilty of attempted murder, the jury did find her guilty of petty larceny, conspiracy, failure to stop and render aid, and malicious wounding. The victim had this to say about the verdict. "Um very happy,” Mackenzie Ansley said. “To be expected -- the attempted murder charge. I knew coming into it, it was an iffy charge. Wytheville VA. (WVVA)--Bring along your appetite, and prepare to be entertained.  The German themed Wohlfahrt Haus Dinner Theater isn't tough to find, and owner Peggy Sutphin knew location would be key to its success.

"She had the foresight to build it here in Wytheville right onto major connecting interstates," said Shane Terry at the Wohlfahrt House.

Doors open two hours before the show, so guests can fill their stomachs, before satisfying their appetite for entertainment.  The Wohlfahrt Haus Dinner Theater distinguishes itself from many other dinner theaters by offering guests a four course sit down meal.   Terry says, "It's a very leisurely experience. Most dinner theatres in the country are buffet style. So that's just a little added luxury if you will."

After dinner it's time for the show, known as America's Musicals in the Mountains, the entertainment here is all musicals all the time and on stage now is "The Fabulous 50's."  "It's a review of all that great 50's music. And it's a group of friends, all of your typical high school characters," says Actor Timothy Bittle.

Back by popular demand, this show is a guest favorite.  "That's from when I grew up. We had a little jukebox down there in a little country store where we went to school, and we would always get down there and dance," said one guest.

And it's easier to find a loyal customer, than a first time visitor here.  Terry adds, "Once you try it once you're hooked!"  "It's just a great place to come, the foods great, I love this place and we come at least two, three times a year," said another guest who traveled in from North Carolina.
