Bluefield -

A West Virginia man is making his mark on country music with a song about The Mountain State.

Wyatt Turner of Pocahontas County posted his song "You Remind Me Of West Virginia" to YouTube July 9th, and the first day it got 50,000 views.

He wrote the song while traveling back to West Virginia from Nashville, adding his fiancee was the inspiration for the song.

"I want them to be able to take that song in and actually appreciate what we have here in West Virginia.  Look at their lady friend, and what woman wouldn't want to be told 'Baby you remind me of West Virginia' because of the natural beauty of the state is just overwhelming.  If she is that overwhelming then you got a special girl on your hands," says Turner.

The single of "You Remind Me Of West Virginia" is set for nationwide release August first.
