Jays pick up two wins vs Royals

BLUEFIELD (WVVA) - After a three-game rainout in Burlington, the Jays and Royals began a six-game series in Bluefield Wednesday evening.

Bluefield picked up the victory in the first game, which picked up in the fourth inning.

The Jays started the continued contest up 1-0, and added to their lead with a 6-run seventh inning -- ultimately going on to a 9-1 win.

Game two saw the Royals come back with a vengeance, taking an early 1-0 lead in the first.

The Jays would tie the came in the bottom of the second, and would eventually grab the 4-3 win.

The Jays and Royals will continue their double-headers for the next two days, before the Jays travel to Bristol for a weekend series.
