BECKLEY (WVVA) - The Beckley Police Department have announced a pair of drug-related arrests.

36-year-old Elmore Tyrone Pannell III, of Hunter Street, faces a delivery of a controlled substance charge for the alleged distribution of cocaine after an investigation spanning two months.

The arrest came after officers with the Beckley Police Department Special Enforcement Unit and the Beckley Police Department Drug Unit located and served an arrest warrant on the subject.

Pannell is being held in the Southern Regional Jail on a $25,000 bond.

In an unrelated case, the Special Enforcement Unit also served a warrant on Jennifer Jagdon, 24, of Vine Street.

Police say Jagdon was found to be in possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, during a traffic stop. She has been released on bond.
