Police find more than 200 pot plants at Mercer residence


INGLESIDE (WVVA) - Mercer County authorities have arrested an Ingleside man after finding more than 200 marijuana plants growing at his residence.

61-year old Charles Anderson II is charged with illegal cultivation and distribution of marijuana.

Investigators tell us they found 209 plants with a street value of more than $500,000, adding Anderson had a systematic growing operation inside an outbuilding, complete with grow lights and an irrigation system.

Anderson is currently free on a $2,500 bond.
