BECKLEY (WVVA) - A six-month investigation has resulted in the arrest of a suspected drug dealer in Beckley.

Police arrested 18-year-old John Michael McManamay of Beckley around 7 p.m. Thursday and charged him with two counts of marijuana distribution and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

Police said McManamay was in possession of two ounces of a high-grade marijuana at the time of his arrest.

The drugs have an estimated street value of $800-$1,000, according to police.

McManamay is currently being held at Southern Regional Jail.
