'Lefty' misses Greenbrier cut again

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS (WVVA) - After a dismal finish to Thursday's first round, Phil Mickelson knew he'd have to golf well on Friday to play on.

Mickelson did play much better on Friday -- but not good enough to miss the cut for the third-straight year at the Greenbrier Classic.

'Lefty' golfed his first under-par round on the Old White TPC, but a collapse on the final two holes left him at 2 over for the tournament, below the one-under line for final cuts.

Mickelson's partner for the day, Bubba Watson will play on this weekend, shooting a 69 on Friday to finish 3 under.
