Helping Disabled Veterans

Posted:

TAZEWELL (WVVA) – Honoring those who served, and helping those who are disabled was the focus for members of the Tazewell Moose Lodge Thursday.

James Naff, a veteran of the United States Army says it's important to continue to serve no matter who you are, "You don't have to be a veteran to be of service. You can go to the hospitals and volunteer; go up and sit with someone and read to them."

The military party was held at the Moose Lodge Park with music, food and a live auction.

All money raised during the auction went to benefit disabled veterans.

T-shirts and radios were some of the items that were auctioned off.
