WHEELING, W.Va. (AP) -- Probation officials are recommending a judge revoke probation for the mother of a missing West Virginia girl after she allegedly violated the terms of her release for the second time in two weeks.

Media outlets say Lena Lunsford was arrested Monday for the same offense that got her in trouble June 19 -- maintaining contact with a convicted felon while on supervised release in Wheeling.

She remained at the Northern Regional Jail in Moundsville on Tuesday.

U.S. District Judge John Preston Bailey scheduled a revocation hearing for July 8 in Wheeling.

Lunsford served eight months in prison for federal welfare fraud after her 3-year-old daughter Aliayah disappeared from their Lewis County home.

The child has never been found, and no one has been charged in her disappearance.
