WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS (WVVA) - This week marks the fourth installment of the Greenbrier Classic -- West Virginia's own PGA Tour event.

In the inaugural event in 2010, Stuart Appleby shot a 59 in the final round to claim the championship by one stroke.

The 2011 event saw a three-way playoff between Bob Estes, Bill Haas and Scott Stallings. Stallings birdied the first sudden-death hole to earn his first Tour victory.

2012 saw the first appearance of Tiger Woods, who missed the cut. Ted Potter Jr. defeated Troy Kelly on third extra hole during a sudden-death playoff.

In addition to golf, the event is also anticipated for its concert series. Past performers have included Reba McEntire, Rascal Flatts, Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Luke Bryan, Tim McGraw, The Black Eyed Peas, Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban, Toby Keith, Lionel Richie, Rod Stewart, The Fray and Bon Jovi.

The 2013 acts are Kenny Chesney and Aerosmith.
