Man who sold bogus Greenbrier Classic passes sentenced

LEWISBURG, W. Va (WVVA)-- The man convicted of selling fake passes to the Greenbrier Classic last year has been sentenced.

24 year old Steven Van Horn pleaded guilty to grand larceny and fraudulent schemes earlier this year after stealing a printer and making fake passes to the tournament.

He was sentenced to 1 to 10 years for both of those charges, to be served consecutively according to a circuit court clerk, but a judge discharged him and is allowing him to serve them on home confinement in Kanawha County.

Van Horn remains on bond until Kanawha County officials approve the agreement.
