    MERCER CO. (WVVA) - Dustie Beller was on trial for running over a woman with her car all for chainsaw. While she was found not guilty of attempted murder, the jury did find her guilty of petty larceny, conspiracy, failure to stop and render aid, and malicious wounding. LEWISBURG (NEWS RELEASE) -- A traffic stop led Lewisburg Police to a discovery of a meth lab in a residential neighborhood.

Officers stopped a vehicle driven by Brian Allen Woody,29 of Lewisburg who was wanted on Federal Probation Violation Charges. Woody was placed under arrest for those charges without incident.

Upon inventory of the vehicle, officers noticed items consistent with the manufacture of a methamphetamine lab.  A subsequent search of Woody's residence, revealed other meth ingredients and a white powdery substance believed to be cocaine.

Tara Lee Woody, 31 of Lewisburg was also taken into custody at the residence.

Brain Woody has been charged with Operation of a clandestine Drug Lab. He is in the Southern Regional Jail in Beckley in lieu of a $25,000.00 bond. He will also face federal charges on the Probation Violation charges.

Tara Woody is charged with operation of a clandestine drug lab and possession of cocaine. She is in the Southern Regional Jail in lieu of a $1000.00 bond.
