BECKLEY (PRESS RELEASE) – Shady Spring Elementary through its Spring Concert raised $1,200 to benefit Hospice of Southern WV.

"We are greatly appreciative of Shady Spring Elementary School and truly impressed by the effort this school put forth to raise money for our organization," said Josh Jones, Public Relations Director for Hospice of Southern WV. "They are as giving as they are impressive!"

Shady Spring Elementary raised the money through the kindness of those who attended the concert at the Raleigh County Armory.  No admission was charged for the concert, but donations could be made to go to Hospice of Southern WV.

Hospice of Southern WV has been providing quality end-of-life care for more than 30 years in Raleigh, Fayette, Summers, and Wyoming Counties.  Since its inception, the organization's mission has remained the same: to serve the needs of individuals living with a life-limiting illness and those caring for them, focusing on comfort and quality of life.
