MCGRAWS (WVVA) - Authorities in Wyoming County have discovered more than a half-million dollars in cash and 30 firearms in safe confiscated from the home of an alleged drug dealer last week.

The Wyoming County Sheriff's Department seized the safe during a search of the McGraws area home of 55-year-old Delbert Lester on May 9.

According to a release from Sheriff Randall Aliff, no one at the home could remember the combination to the safe. Upon finally opening the safe, officers found the cash and firearms.

The latest findings are in addition to the 400 pills, $10,000 in cash and 70 weapons originally retrieved from Lester's home during the initial search.

Lester was charged with 8 counts of delivery of a controlled substance when arrested last week. He is now free on $200,000 bond.

The investigation by the sheriff's department, the Southern West Virginia Drug and Violent Crime Task Force, and county prosecutor Mike Cochran continues.
