RAINELLE (WVVA) - Four people have been arrested in Rainelle after police found meth-making ingredients in duffle bags near an apartment complex.

Based on a tip, Trooper W.S. Snyder with the Rainelle detachment of the West Virginia State Police responded to reports of a possible meth lab at the Middletown Apartments.

Upon investigation, Snyder located a 'shaker bottle' meth lab in bags behind a briar patch near the apartment complex.

Four people were arrested and charged in connection with the meth lab: Stephen Cool, 27; John B. Lafferty IV, 24; James P. Johnson Jr., 47; and Pamela S. Grimmett, 32.

Cool is being held at Southern Regional Jail on $30,000 bond. He was previously on bond from a meth-related charge in Fayette County.

Lafferty was released on $30,000 bond. Johnson and Grimmett were released on $25,000 bond each.

This is the third meth-related incident in Greenbrier County in the past week.

On Friday, three were arrested after police found a meth lab in a child's room at a home in Rupert.

On Sunday, four were arrested following a meth lab bust at another home in the Rupert area.
