    MERCER CO. (WVVA) - Dustie Beller was on trial for running over a woman with her car all for chainsaw. While she was found not guilty of attempted murder, the jury did find her guilty of petty larceny, conspiracy, failure to stop and render aid, and malicious wounding. BEAVER (WVVA) - Police have released more details in a deadly shooting in Raleigh County.

Deputies responded to reports of a shooting on Country Club Drive in Beaver Thursday night at approximately 6:30 p.m.

Upon arrival police found Christopher Ward, 39, of Beaver, with one gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he died.

At the scene, police say Michael Stines, 46, of Beckley, admitted that he shot Ward.

The investigation indicates that there was a physical altercation between the two.

Charges have not been filed at this time.

GRANDVIEW (WVVA) - The Raleigh County Sheriff's Department responded to the scene of a fatal shooting Thursday night.

The incident occurred at 451 Country Club Drive in Grandview.Sheriff Steve Tanner tells WVVA News that one person is dead.  We're told another is being questioned but no arrests have been made. 

Very few details have been released at this time.  The Raleigh County Sheriffs Department is still questioning witnesses.  What they are saying is that there was some type of altercation between the victim and the shooter prior to the shooting.
