Police say Christiansburg shooting suspect admits to web posts


CHRISTIANSBURG (WVVA) – Police say the suspect accused of shooting two women at a community college inside a Christiansburg mall has admitted to web posts before the shooting.

According to a police search warrant, 18-year old Neil Macinnis admitted to investigators that he tried to post to his account at  online message board 4Chan on his laptop but could not get a wireless signal, so he used his iPhone instead.

Police have since seized Macclnnis' phone and computer.

The shootings occurred on April 12th.
