    MERCER CO. (WVVA) - Dustie Beller was on trial for running over a woman with her car all for chainsaw. While she was found not guilty of attempted murder, the jury did find her guilty of petty larceny, conspiracy, failure to stop and render aid, and malicious wounding. ATHENS, W.Va.(WVVA) The Concord University Theatre and Music Departments will be presenting the musical "Godspell."
 
"Godspell" was conceived and originally directed by John-Michael Tebelak featuring music and new lyrics by Stephen Schwartz. It was originally produced on the New York Stage by Edgar Lansbury, Stuart Duncan and Joseph Beruh. The musical is based on the Gospel of Matthew.  CU also presented this musical in the year 2000, directed by former Concord University theatre professors Dr. Jim Lile and Mrs. Ann Lile.
 
Students will perform on Wednesday, April 24th, Thursday, April 25th, Friday, April 26th and Saturday April 27th at 8 p.m. nightly in the H.C. Paul Theatre in the Alexander Fine Arts Center. The Fine Arts Center is located on Concord's main campus.
 
Concord University's 2013 production is directed by Dr. T. Gambill and Dr. Keely Rhodes. Cast members include Cody Boone, Rebecca Creel, Amber Fullen, Ainsley Miller, Andi Miller, Chance Rader, Greg Stamp, Crystale Taylor, Akintude Thomas and Charles Wallace.
