Gas Prices Continue to Drop in West Virginia

Posted:

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WVVA) -- As warm weather sweeps the two-Virginias, motorists are enjoying lower gas prices when they hit the roads.

The price of gas continues to fall in West Virginia.

The Triple A's weekly fuel gauge reports a 4-cent decline in the price per gallon of gas since last week. The statewide average is $3.65 a gallon, which remains higher than the national average of $3.58.

The auto club attributes the cheaper gas to an increase in refinery production and economic worries, which have raised demand concerns.

In West Virginia, pump prices range from a low of about $3.57 in Bridgeport to a high of $3.77 in Martinsburg.
