Keen pleads guilty to second degree murder

PRINCETON (WVVA) -- A woman pleads guilty to second-degree murder in Mercer County.

39-year-old Tammy Keen has agreed to enter a plea to second degree murder in the death of 41-year-old Timothy Dewitt of Princeton.

Keen could be sentenced to 40 years in prison for the second-degree murder charge.

Keen also pleaded guilty to first-degree robbery which carries a sentence of up to 10 years.

In March of 2011, highway workers doing bridge maintenance work spotted Dewitt's body near Bluestone Falls and called police.

A co-defendant, Thomas Tyler Hall, entered a plea to second degree murder.

Another co-defendant, Chad Hylton, is in a Virginia jail on unrelated charges.
