Raleigh County teacher moves up in rankings for national competition

Posted:

GLEN DANIEL (WVVA) -- A local teacher is continuing to climb in the ranks of a national competition.

Everett Jeremy Rodriguez, the theater and music instructor at Liberty High School, is now in the top four of this year's Great American Teach-Off.

If he wins, he'll receive a $10,000 grant, which he's going to give straight back to his students, so they can have a state of the art, digital piano lab.

The next elimination is Monday.
