BECKLEY (WVVA) - Twelve people were targeted by authorities during a federal drug roundup in Raleigh County Tuesday.
Ten of 12 suspects facing a variety of drug charges were taken into custody. Authorities are still seeking two other individuals.
The charges stem from controlled prescription drug buys, except for one individual that was arrested on cocaine charges.
The roundup was a joint effort of the Beckley Police and Raleigh County Sheriff's Department and is part of an initiative with the U.S. Attorney's Office to combat the war on drugs.
