GILES COUNTY (WVVA)--- A man is dead and another sustained life-threatening injuries after a single-vehicle crash Saturday.
Corinne Geller of the Virginia State Police says that 67-year-old William Baublitz of Roanoke was killed at the scene after the car he was riding in went off the side of the road and crashed into a tree.
40-year-old Anthony Garrett Jr. of Buchanan, Virginia was taken to a hospital in Roanoke with life-threatening injuries. Garrett was driving the car.
Neither man was wearing a seatbelt.
The cause of the crash is under investigation and charges are pending.
