LEWISBURG, WV (WVVA)-- The 2012 Elizabeth Brown Jacobson Scholarship application as well as the Service Award Nomination forms are now available.

This scholarship is open to anyone living in Greenbrier, Monroe, or Pocahontas County West Virginia. It is intended to assist persons of any age who are trying to pursue an education beyond secondary school. This includes college, university, trade, vocational or other schools.

The Service Award is to honor a graduating high school student who is active in their church and community and has had interest in others well being. The Service award is open to graduating high school students living in Greenbrier, Monroe, or Pocahontas County West Virginia.

The Lewisburg United Methodist Church gives out these awards but are not limited to those of the Methodist faith.

Scholarship applications and Service Award nomination forms are available at Lewisburg United Methodist Church, 214 E. Washington Street, Lewisburg or at www.lwbumc.com. Forms must be returned by April 15, 2013
