PRINCETON (WVVA)--- 45 years ago Gary Martin's dad started Precast's Concrete to help local businesses and homeowners with their projects, but on Wednesday, Martin had to sell it all piece by piece.

"To see everything that I have worked for my entire life go down the tubes for essentially little money is tough," said Martin.

Martin chose to close now although he said he did not need to at this point.

"I did not have to close, but with the way everything is going we would have in another year of two," says Martin.

Precast's Concrete auctioned off all of their assets Wednesday, one of the final steps of closing the door on the past and opening the next door for the future.

"My wife and I are going to open a second hand store here and then hopefully open a flea market in the back buildings."
