NBC News--For the first time in 75 years, Lay's Potato Chips just introduced three new consumer inspired flavors, and they're asking consumers to vote on their favorite.
Lay's Cheesy Garlic Bread, Sriracha, and Chicken and Waffles flavored potato chips are the latest craze in the snack world. The unique flavors hit store shelves nationwide this week.
They were chosen from nearly 3.8 million fan submissions as part of the "Do us a Flavor" contest sponsored by Lay's. The contestants behind the new chip flavors are vying for a chance to win 1 million dollars or 1 percent of their flavor's net sales.
From now until May 4th, consumers can vote each day for their favorite flavor on the Lay's Facebook page. The winning flavor will be revealed in May and remain on store shelves following the completion of the contest.
