UPSHUR COUNTY (WVVA)- The Amber Alert for 16-year-old Shaina Nicole Tenney and her 7-Month-Old daughter Grace Hope Tenney has been canceled.

According to a report from NBC affiliate WSAZ, the Kanawha County Dispatcher says they were found Wednesday morning. The West Virginia State police canceled the alert around 9:30 in the morning after they were found.

Police believed they were in "extreme danger" and that the two were allegedly abducted by family member Margel F. Tenney.

All three were found alongside Interstate 79 in Lewis County, WSAZ reports.


UPSHUR COUNTY (WVVA) - An Amber Alert issued for two West Virginia girls has been extended to Ohio, according to the website of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

A suspect vehicle, possibly carrying 16-year-old Shaina Nicole Tenney and her 7-month-old daughter Grace Hope Tenney, was possibly seen crossing into Ohio on Interstate 77 around 9 p.m.

The NCMEC website further states in the updated Amber Alert that the suspect, Margel F. Tenney, is being investigated for sexual abuse against the teen.

There is conflicting information on the NCMEC website regarding the color of the vehicle in question. The Ohio Amber Alert lists the suspect vehicle as a red Ford Taurus, while the previously-issued West Virginia Amber Alert lists the vehicle color as beige.

Both alerts state the vehicle's West Virginia plate number is 2LW179.

Previous reports indicated the suspect and victims may have been headed south to Texas.

UPSHUR COUNTY (WVVA) - The West Virginia State Police have issued an Amber Alert for a 16-year old mother and her 7-month-old child believed abducted by an adult male in Upshur County and possibly headed south for Texas.

They are believed to be in extreme danger.

Shaina Nicole Tenney, 16, is described as a white female with black hair, 5'2" and 225 pounds. She was last seen wearing black stretch pants, gray shirt with a black or gray hoodie and white tennis shoes.

Grace Hope Tenney, 7 months old, is a white female infant with black hair, 2'4", 19 pounds. She was last seen wearing a flowered sundress and pink coat.

The two may be with an adult male, identified as Margel Tenney, who is 5'8", 185 pounds, who was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and blue jeans with Red Wing boots.

They may be in a beige 2003 Ford Taurus, plate number 2LW179.

The car was last seen headed south on state route 20 in Upshur County. They could be headed for Texas.
