Man Arrested After Break-In at Oceana Middle School

OCEANA (WVVA) - One man is arrested after allegedly breaking in to Oceana Middle School early Monday morning.

Jason Goodwin, 34, of Oceana was arrested after police found him in the main office of the school building.

A school janitor called 911 when he found the glass busted out of the main office windows just before 5 o'clock Monday morning.

Oceana Assistant Police Chief R. L. Paynter was dispatched to the scene, and arrested Goodwin.

Police say that Goodwin was currently on a $20,000 bond on two previous breaking and entering charges at Mikes Automotive in Oceana during January and February.

Goodwin is charged with breaking and entering, entering without breaking, destruction of property and petit larceny.

He is awaiting arraignment at the Oceana Police Department.
