Deputies are investigating an attempted robbery at a local supermarket. Police were called to the Bradley Supermarket on Robert C Byrd Drive after a man entered the store, held the clerk at knife point and demanded money. The clerk yelled for the owner and set off an alarm.
The robber left the store and was chased by the owner. The suspected robber was picked up by another man but the owner was able to get the license place number. Deputies located the vehicle and took the suspects into custody.
