HINTON (WVVA) - The man charged in last week's devastating arsons in Hinton was back in court in Summers County Friday.

Billy Joe Gill, 25, was arraigned Friday on two counts of attempted murder in addition to the two charges of first-degree arson he already faces.

Gill is accused of setting fire to a home on 5th Avenue and an entire row of apartments on Temple Street.

No one was injured in the fires.

Gill was arrested a shortly after the fires were set at a nearby residence.

According to the criminal complaint against Gill, he was found wearing rubber gloves and smelling of kerosene.
