West Virginia National Guard Day at the Legislature

CHARLESTON W.Va.--- The West Virginia National Guard will host its annual National Guard Day at the Legislature on Friday, March 8 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Capitol in Charleston.
 
Soldiers and Airmen from across the W.Va. National Guard will set up displays in the upper rotunda to showcase the strengths and unique capabilities of our Army and Air National Guard units, as well as our Joint Forces Homeland Defense Assets.
 
Some of the units showcased include W.Va. National Guard Engineer assets, the 35th Civil Support Team (Weapons of Mass Destruction), Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and High-Yield Explosive teams and Security Forces Squadrons. In addition, vehicles, weapons and special equipment used by Guard members will also be displayed.
