HARRISBURG, Pa. (NEWS RELEASE) – Bargain shoppers and NASCAR fans, the countdown is on for the grand opening of the newest Ollie's Bargain Outlet store in Bluefield. Bargain shoppers can explore unbeatable deals and 250 lucky fans will have the opportunity to meet NASCAR superstar Jeff Burton.

The growing chain, known for unbeatable closeouts and "Good Stuff Cheap", will officially open the doors at 9 a.m. Wednesday, March 13. The newest Ollie's Bargain Outlet is located at 533 Commerce Drive next to Lowe's Home Improvement store in Bluefield.

Folks should arrive plenty early for a chance to meet Burton. Beginning at 7:30 a.m., 250 tickets will be distributed on a first come, first served basis (limit one per person). At 10 a.m., ticket holders will be able to meet and have their photo taken with Burton, as well as have him autograph one piece of their own memorabilia.

"We are excited to open our thirteenth store in the great state of Virginia where the folks have been so good to us," said Mark Butler, President and CEO of Ollie's Bargain Outlet. "I couldn't be happier to have Jeff Burton join our team at the grand opening. He is a well-respected NASCAR veteran and we're glad that fans in Bluefield will have the opportunity to meet him at our grand opening."

2012 marked Burton's 19th full season in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. He ended the year with two top-five and five top-ten finishes, which added to his impressive 130 top-five and 242 top-ten career finishes. Burton has 21 career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series triumphs and 27 career Nationwide victories.

"I really enjoy interacting with fans," says Burton. "I'm especially excited to meet some of the country's greatest NASCAR fans in Virginia. Ollie's is a great company and I'm thankful for the opportunity to be a part of the grand opening of their newest store in Bluefield."

Ollie's brings about 50-60 new jobs to the local community with each new store it opens, ranging from cashiers to assistant managers. Ollie's employs over 3,500 associates in its 133 stores across 13 states.
