BEAVER, W.Va. - Concord University's Beckley Center will hold an open house on Sunday, March 10 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The campus is located in the Erma Byrd Higher Education Center at 300 University Drive in Beaver. (Take Exit 125-B, Airport Road, off of Interstate 64.)
Concord representatives will be available to talk one-on-one with prospective students about educational opportunities at the Beckley location. High school students making college plans are invited to attend. Adults, including individuals interested in furthering their education or pursuing a different career path, are also invited.
Kent Gamble, Concord's director of enrollment, said the open house will give the community an opportunity to become better acquainted with the University's academic programs and schedule of courses. He said the event will focus on both traditional students and adult learners and how they can pursue higher education on Concord's Beckley campus.
