WVVA Sports issues School Spirit Challenge for girls tourney

BLUEFIELD (WVVA) - Sparked by a war of words -- or tweets -- between supporters of Westside and Princeton high schools, WVVA Sports has issued a challenge.

Student sections for the Tigers and Renegades -- as well as the PikeView Panthers, who also made it to Charleston -- were challenged to bring their best school spirit to the Girls State Basketball Tournament -- and WVVA was watching.

Watch each of the three student section videos from Thursday's games and decide which you think is best.

Supporters of each school can tell us who they think will win by voting in the special Webpoll on the WVVA.com Sports page. Voting ends Friday night.

50 percent of the winning formula will be the online vote. The other 50 percent will be the WVVA Newsroom vote, based on fan participation we saw in Charleston.

The winning school will be announced on WVVA News at 6 this Monday!
