Train, Jepsen to perform at Scout Jamboree

Posted:

BECKLEY (WVVA) - Two big-name musical acts will entertain the nation's Boy Scouts when they converge on southern West Virginia later this year.

Train and Carly Rae Jepsen will headline two separate concerts during the 2013 National Scout Jamboree in July at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in Fayette County.

The Register-Herald reports the concerts will take place at the Summit's AT&T Stadium an amphitheater that can seat 80,000.

Jepsen, who's song 'Call Me Maybe' was one of the most popular tunes of 2012, will open the Jamboree with a scouts-only performance.

Three-time Grammy winners Train will close out the event with a concert for scouts and visitors, the Register-Herald reports.

Both artists acknowledged the upcoming dates in YouTube videos posted by user scoutingmag
