POWELLTON -- A Fugitive from Justice has been captured and arrested in the Powellton area of Fayette County. Sheriff Steve W. Kessler released the following information regarding this arrest:
On Monday February 25th 2013, a Sheriff's Deputy K-9 Unit of the Fayette County Sheriff's Department made contact with Travis L. Duncan while on patrol in the Powellton area. The Deputy Sheriff was notified by the Fayette County 911 Center that Mr. Duncan is wanted in Cuyahoga County Ohio on multiple serious charges.
Travis L. Duncan, age 24 of Cleveland Ohio, is wanted on charges of Kidnapping, Robbery and Attempted Felonious Assault out of Cuyahoga County Ohio. Duncan was taken into custody and processed through Fayette County on a Fugitive from Justice Warrant, and was subsequently transported to the Southern Regional Jail to await extradition proceedings.
This incident remains under investigation by Sergeant T.N. Mooney (K-9) of the Fayette County Sheriff's Department.
