One Dead After Crash on I-77

CAMP CREEK (WVVA)--- A man is dead after crashing his vehicle into the back of a snow removal truck.

The Turnpike Division of the State Police say that the accident happened around midnight at mile marker 21 on I-77.

Police say that 62-year-old Charles William Rose of Princeton was traveling northbound on the Interstate when he crashed into the back of the snow truck.

Rose died as a result of his injuries.

Police say it was snowing at the time of the accident but it is unclear if the weather played a role in the accident.
