Plans being made for spring soccer at the Y

NEWS RELEASE:  Beckley, W.Va. — Spring soccer registration is underway at the YMCA of Southern West Virginia.
"Youth soccer is one of our most popular programs," said Sports and Recreation Director Daniel Vass. "With the snow days and arctic temperatures that we've seen many people may not be thinking about spring sports, but this is the time to plan ahead and sign-up."
 
The Y's spring soccer season will run April 8 through May 31 for Under 4 and Under 6 soccer and April 9 through June 1 for Under 8, Under 10 and Under 12 soccer.
 
Under 4 and Under 6 soccer is free for Y members and $10 for non-members. Under 8, Under 10 and Under 12 soccer is $20 for Y members and $50 for non-members.
Registration continues through Friday, March 8. Printable forms are available on the Y's website at www.ymcaswv.com and at the Y Welcome Center.
