Fayette County to vote on $46M school levy

FAYETTE COUNTY (WVVA) - Fayette County residents will head to the polls Saturday to vote on a $46 million school levy.

Assistant superintendent Serena Starcher tells us the money will be used to pay for things like instructional support, employee salaries and technology.

The levy would mean more than $9 million for the school system each year for the next five years, making up 14 percent of the system's budget.

Polls open at 6:30 am Saturday and close at 7:30 pm

All 39 county voting precincts will be open.
