BLUEFIELD (WVVA) - Snow is expected to move into the region Saturday, leaving behind up to 12 inches of snow in some places before moving out on Sunday.
According to the WVVA Precision Weather Team, much of the viewing area is expected to see 3-6 inches of accumulation by Sunday, with 1-3 expected in the eastern counties and 6-12 possible in the northern mountains.
Scattered snow showers will continue through Sunday, with highs expected to reach 30.
Another clipper moving through Monday night into Tuesday morning could also bring additional accumulation.
