Oak Hill murder case bound to grand jury


OAK HILL (WVVA) - The suspect in an Oak Hill murder case appeared in court Monday for a preliminary hearing.

Terreque Gray, 23, went before Magistrate Sharron McGraw. After listening to several witnesses, McGraw found probable cause to send the case to the next grand jury sitting in May.

Gray is charged in the shooting death of 25-year-old Maurice Lamar McCain at the corner of Mahan Street and Highlawn Avenue earlier this month.

Gray is being held at Southern Regional Jail.
