RAINELLE (WVVA) - Firefighters as well as community members were recognized for service beyond the call of duty.
Family, friends and officials gathered at the Rainelle Fire Hall to celebrate a year of memories and hard work.
As volunteers, every member of the department is unpaid and must make sacrifices to respond to the community's calls for help. The banquet acts as a way for the community to pay back those first responders.
