UPDATE:

LEWISBURG, W. Va (WVVA)-- New details are released in a fatal farm accident on Benedict Lane North of Lewisburg.

Greenbrier County Sheriff Jan Cahill said deputies arrived on scene and found Kenneth Keesee, 67, of Smoot deceased on the farm.

According to Cahill, Keesee was pinned between the bed and frame of a dump truck he had been operating.

The accident is still under investigation. Cahill said the truck has been taken into evidence for examination to determine if a mechanical or equipment malfunction contributed to the accident.

LEWISBURG, W. Va (WVVA)-- Police have confirmed a person is dead on a Greenbrier County farm.

The Greenbrier County Sheriff's Department said Sunday night officers are on the scene of a fatal farming accident.

The Fairlea and Lewisburg Fire Departments and EMS, as well as a medical examiner also responded.

Police said  it happened on Benefict Lane on a farm near Lewisburg.

Not many details are known at this time. Police are still investigating the scene.
