Spaghetti dinner raises thousands for local teen battling cancer

OAK HILL (WVVA)- A spaghetti dinner raises over $20,000 for student battling cancer.

Jamie Massey, a local teen at Oak Hill High School, was recently diagnosed with Leukemia. Local volunteers held a spaghetti dinner in her name selling over $2,500 in meals with each plate costing $10. The dinner was scheduled to be held at Cafe One, the restaurant where Jamie previously worked, was moved to the Lewis Community Center to accommodate the amount of people who wanted to contribute to the cause.

Monetary contributions for Jamie can be dropped off at the Cafe One or The Gospel Tabernacle in Oak Hill.
