WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS (WVVA) - Country music superstar Kenny Chesney will rock Greenbrier County this summer, according to a tweet from the Greenbrier Classic.
The Greenbrier Classic Twitter page posted the following tweet Thursday afternoon: "Country music superstar @kennychesney will headline The Greenbrier Classic Concert Series this summer on the 4th of July!"
Greenbrier owner Jim Justice told the Register-Herald he was excited about this year's headliner.
"I'm just really tickled that we got Kenny Chesney for the 4th of July," Justice said.
The Register-Herald also reported that Justice's team has also contacted Lady Gaga, Madonna, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and Bruce Springsteen.
Last year's concert featured Bon Jovi, Toby Keith, Rod Stewart and Lionel Ritchie.
