Students send care packages to Bluefield-based MP Unit in Afghanistan

Posted:

BLUEFIELD (WVVA) - Although the Bluefield-based 304th Military Police are thousands of miles away in Afghanistan, they are not forgotten by people here in the Two Virginias.

Students at Bluefield Intermediate made care packages to send to the members of the 304th unit for Valentines Day.

The students wanted the soldiers to know just how much they appreciate their service to our country.

The unit is expected to stay in Afghanistan for nine months.

The staff and students at Bluefield Intermediate thanked the American Legion Auxillary for allowing them to have the opportunity to send the packages.
