Fayette County development project takes another step

Posted:

FAYETTEVILLE (WVVA) - A development project in Fayetteville has taken the next step toward reality.

The History Board has approved the design of the Henry Street Project.

The project -- once completed -- will bring at least nine new commercial spots to Fayetteville, according to the developer.

With the approval, work begins on the engineering for the new road and parking area -- while complying with future Fayetteville regulations for storm water drain run-off.

Another part of the project is the restoration of the historic Dickerson House.

The Dickerson House set to open by summer 2013 and will house a web development company and coffee house.
