GREEN VALLEY, W. Va (WVVA)- A man is behind bars tonight after police say he committed an armed robbery and a string of burglaries over the weekend. The man is 30-year-old Michael Beck of Green Valley, who was booked today on charges of armed robbery and conspiracy.
The charges stem from the armed robbery of the Executive Lounge in Green Valley, the theft of copper from mining equipment, also in Green Valley, and the breaking and entering of the S&S Store in Bluewell. Troopers investigating the case say the trail of evidence lead them right to Beck.
Corporal A. P. Christian of the Princeton State Police said that two of Beck's co-conspirators are being sought for questioning as the investigation continues. Beck is being held at the Southern Regional Jail under a $50,000 cash bond.
