$50K construction vehicle stolen from Fayette Co. site

MEADOW BRIDGE (WVVA) - Police are investigating the theft of a $50,000 piece of construction equipment from the future site of a Fayette County retail store.

The Fayette County Sheriff's Department says a Caterpillar Skid Steer was taken from the job site of the new Family Dollar on Route 20 in Meadow Bridge, sometime between Jan. 3 and Jan. 4.

The owner of the stolen property, Taylor Enterprises, is offering a $500 reward for any information that leads to an arrest and/or the return of the stolen equipment.
