    MERCER CO. (WVVA) - Dustie Beller was on trial for running over a woman with her car all for chainsaw. While she was found not guilty of attempted murder, the jury did find her guilty of petty larceny, conspiracy, failure to stop and render aid, and malicious wounding. MONTCALM (WVVA) - Police have released more details in a Saturday night incident in the Montcalm area that resulted in a sheriff's deputy fatally shooting a man.

Police responded to a domestic disturbance call at a home on Surface Hill Road around 10 p.m. Saturday night, according to Sgt. D.W. Miller of the West Virginia State Police.

Upon arrival, Miller said an unnamed deputy encountered a man -- identified as 31-year-old Jason Dillon -- wielding a club inside the home. 

Miller said the deputy fatally shot Dillon after he came toward the officer in an aggressive manner.

Dillon lived in the home with his girlfriend. Police say she was unharmed.

It is unclear who made the initial 911 call.

The name of the deputy involved has not been released.

SANDLICK (WVVA)--- A Mercer County Sheriff's Deputy shoots and kills a man after a destruction of property 911 call.

Mercer County 911 says that a destruction of property call came in just after 10 PM Saturday night on Sandlick Road.

Details are very limited at this point but the Mercer County Sheriff's Office has confirmed that a deputy shot and killed a man.

State Police is investigating the shooting.
